Finally! New ferry route connects the Ionian Islands

For the first time, inter-island scheduled ferry service is being offered in the Ionians. This new service will connect Corfu, Paxi, Lefkada, Ithaki, Kefalonia, and Zakynthos, and will certainly increase tourist traffic to the smaller islands.

Other island groups such as the Cyclades, Saronic, and Sporades have long had scheduled ferry service between neighboring islands, making for a more comprehensive tourist experience. So, the next time you visit Corfu, make a little journey to Ithaka.......
