Epidaurus Agrotourism Festival 2018

If you are in Epidaurus this summer, be sure to visit the Agrotourism Festival. Local producers, farmers, artists and craftspersons showcase their wares in this outdoor exhibition along the waterfront. Visitors will find organic products, artwork, traditional and contemporary crafts, handcrafted soaps and cosmetics made with local ingredients, food & drink, and many other items. The Agrotourism Festival is heavily attended by both locals and foreigners, and is a great way to experience a bit of authentic “Argolida."

Epidaurus is a perfect base from which to explore the Argolid and the Peloponnese. The immediate area offers many fine beaches, tavernas, shops and archaeological sites. The main archaeological site is the Sanctuary of Asklepios with its famous theatre.

In the summer months, the Epidaurus Festival features performances in the ancient theatre, as well as in the smaller, ancient “Little Theatre of Epidaurus.” Several hotels in the old port and new town offer Greek hospitality with a relaxing vibe: Just what the doctor ordered!
